Maria apparently hails from Madonna's home state of Michigan, where she attended high school and graduated in 2021.

David appears to have one of the closet relationships to his mother among his five siblings.

Banda, 18, has been romancing the aspiring model Maria Atuesta, 21, a source told The Sun on Friday.

David, who has been accompanying his mother Madonna, 65, on her Celebration Tour, reportedly started dating the brunette beauty early in the year, and the two are still going strong.

David and Maria have had to carry on a long-distance relationship for much of that time, as he has been playing guitar at the Material Girl's shows from October through through May.

However, after her triumphant tour-ending show at the Copacabana Beach in Brazil's Rio de Janeiro, David was able to fly home to New York to be with his flame again.

Maria was dressed casually in the snap in a baby blue ripped tank top while wearing slim black sunglasses that were framed by her long brunette locks.

Earlier, he posted a selfie of himself in a puffy olive-green baseball cap, a black sweatshirt and amber-tinted aviator sunglasses as he wished a 'Happy Monday to all.'

Earlier in the month, he wrote 'You look ravishing mi amor' in the the comments to a series of black-and-white photo Maria posted of herself.

The musician was born in Malawi in 2005, and Madonna later adopted him with her then-husband Guy Ritchie after a humanitarian trip to the African country in 2006.

The adoption was controversial, as the celebrity couple were granted an exemption to get around a requirement that prospective parents live in Malawi for 18 months before adopting a child.

David siblings include Madonna's oldest, her daughter Lourdes, 27, whom she shares with her ex-boyfriend Carlos Leon.

She and Ritchie share 23-year-old Rocco, and Madonna has also adopted Mercy, 18, and twins Stella and Estere, 11, all of whom came from Malawi as well.
