Speaking to YouTube sports interviewer Helen Yee about having children, he said: “I’ve known I have wanted kids since I was a little dude. The UFC bantamweight champion and newly-minded superstar attributed that to his status in life.

Who is UFC Champ Sean O’Malley’s wife Danya Gonzalez?
UFC‘s bantamweight champion Sean O’ Malley is married to wife Danya Gonzalez, after meeting at the gym in 2017.
Born in 1991, the champ’s spouse is a hairstylist, who owns her own salon.
Dana is also an influencer, and has a big following on Instagram.
She has been by O’Malley‘s side for every step of his UFC journey.
It’s not known when the couple married, but their unconventional relationship has caused a stir.
Dana’s husband revealed how the couple are in an open marriage.
This admission from O’Malley got fans talking, with several taking to social media to criticize it.
However, the fighter has defended his open marriage with Dana.
O’Malley said he believes the concept of conventional marriages with 100 per cent monogamy is archaic.
During an episode of the TimboSugarShow he said: “Marriage when it was first introduced is when people’s life expectancy was 21 years old.
“It was so f***ing low, it was rare.
“So you were only married for a few years.
I would be Conor [McGregor] for sure.
It probably wouldn’t be fair.
O’Malley admitted that his open relationship is one-sided and his wife is not allowed to sleep with other men. But I’m f–king King Kong baby,” O’Malley said.
While O’Malley does not have a standard monogamous relationship, it seems to be working for both him and Gonzalez. The pair have a daughter, Elena, together and O’Malley has credited Gonzalez for helping him stay disciplined.
He said, “She knew she didn’t fall in love with like a fake me.
O’Malley has chalked up his female adventures as the one aspect of his life where he lets loose. If I didn’t have discipline … oh dude, I would be crazy.

O’Malley insists the open aspect of his relationship with his wife doesn’t mean he loves her any less than a husband in a traditional marriage.
Speaking again on his podcast, he said in 2023: “I’m a king, I pay for everything.
I was just genuinely myself and didn’t lie to her … I was just straight up with her since day one.”

O’Malley also remembered a time when he and his partner broke up.
He said, “We broke up at one point, for probably a couple of months cause I f**ked up.” He recollects things, getting pretty bad fast, with her moving out and them not talking for a couple of months.
“If I wasn’t paying for everything, if I wasn’t, you know, successful in any sort of way, and I was just like maybe an average Joe, I probably wouldn’t. ‘Suger’ has received some criticism of late about not fighting tough opponents.
However, after his recent win, O’Malley is now ranked, which means he will now most likely fight a ranked opponent next.

As for who he will fight next, O’Malley had called out Dominick Cruz before his last fight.
However, the good news is they managed to smooth things over and get back together.
