• Gwen Stacy- She appears in Sam Raimi’s and Marc Webb’s Spider-Man movies. I’m not convinced. It’s not just the cast featuring Ian McKellen, Anna Paquin, Alan Cumming, and Elliot Page; it’s the blatantly gay subtext of the X-Men concept itself.

  She figures out Peter is Spider-Man in Spider-Man: Far From Home and the two officially become a couple.

• Web-Weaver, a not-so-mild mannered fashion designer at Van Dyne gets spider-powers and shows us a very different kind of Spider-Slayer in a story by Steve Foxe and Kei Zama.

  Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 are NOT GAY.
