In 2024, Logan K. Carter, a queer, non-binary person, ranked the cars at the Los Angeles LGBTQ+ Pride Parade. However, it is argued that this colour reads more as a "company car" than a car owned by a gay person. Well, that might depend on who you ask, but several models have been suggested over the years, from the Jeep Wrangler to the Subaru, the Mini Cooper, and even the Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet.

Most LGBTQ Friendly Car Brands

When asked if there are gay-friendly car brands, 48% of respondents said yes.

Some sources also listed the BMW 3-series and X3 models as lesbian cars, although these also appear on gay car lists.

While the Subaru is often stereotyped as the lesbian car, some lesbians have expressed a preference for other vehicles. Ultimately, any car can be a "gay car" if it resonates with and brings joy to members of the community.
