Puerto Vallarta is set to welcome approximately 40,000 visitors from around the globe to the region’s most prominent LGBTQ+ event, Vallarta Pride 2025.

In a safe space to share and learn together, participants will also explore different practices, toys and games to complement sexual activity.  "Ellas Conectan en la Escena" will end with a spectacular party with a DJ and a variety of talents that will rock the stage and make you want to dance. The organizing committee highlighted that this edition of Vallarta Pride has made significant political strides, achieving representation in the Chamber of Deputies, the Mexican Ministry of Economy, and the embassies of France and the United States.

“Ellas Conectan en la Escena” All-Female Party

"Ellas Conectan en la Escena” is an all-female party celebrating the talent, music, art and strength of diverse women in the LGBTIQ+ community.  The Sapphic Pleasure workshop, an interactive class to learn pleasure-focused communication tools, will kick off the event.

This year’s celebration will take place from May 17 to 25, under the theme “The Future Has No Gender”, offering a diverse array of activities spanning culture, art, health, and sports.

At a press conference at Industry on Feb. 25 2025, the complete event schedule was unveiled.

Below are the highlights for each day:

• Saturday, May 17: The festivities kick off with the March Against Homophobia and for Trans and Non-Binary Visibility, followed by the photographic exhibition “No Future Without Memory” at the Office of Cultural Projects (OPC).

• Sunday, May 18: The International Film Festival presents a gala featuring screenings of films significant to the LGBTQ+ community.

• Monday, May 19: The day begins with the Pet Parade on the Malecón, a family-friendly event celebrating diversity.

Many events are free and non-profit, reinforcing the city’s reputation as an authentic, welcoming destination for national and international travelers.

Puerto Vallarta is gearing up for Vallarta Pride 2025, the region’s premier LGBTQ+ event, welcoming visitors from May 17-25.

Puerto Vallarta is set to become the epicenter of Mexico's Pride celebrations with Vallarta Pride 2025, which will take place from May 17 to 25.  The Friendliest City in the World was named Best LGBTQ+ Destination 2024 at the prestigious Magellan Awards, and Vallarta Pride is the ideal event to discover all Puerto Vallarta has to offer.

Confirming Puerto Vallarta as one of the world's leading LGBTQ+ destinations, Vallarta Pride 2025 promises a complete gaycation with exciting and unforgettable experiences and influential performers who will be an integral part of the celebration.

Vallarta Pride 2025 will take place over nine consecutive days.  There will be a total of 19 entertainment, sports, gastronomic, artistic and cultural events.  With this in mind, we present below a selection of the events that you will not want to miss during your Pride celebration in Puerto Vallarta.

IDAHOTB Rally 

• Saturday, May 17 | 6:00pm.
• Departure: Sheraton Buganvilias Resort.

A rally to feel empowered, proud and determined.  Puerto Vallarta NGOs, LGBTQ+ rights activists and their allies are marching against homophobia, demanding respect, dignity and rights for all.  This is a call for equality, a reminder that the fight is still necessary.  Your presence and your voice are critical to making real change and moving towards a more inclusive and just future for all!

MET-A-BALL

• Monday, May 19 | 6:00pm—11:00pm.
• Industry Night Club (258 Lázaro Cárdenas, Romantic Zone.)

Experience the excitement, fashion and style at this spectacular event.  The Ballroom Community of Puerto Vallarta is proud to present: "MET-A-BALL", a futuristic themed International Grand Ball that will leave you breathless.  Prepare for a night of glamour, art and expression with dazzling outfits that will shake the floor. 

Pink Dinner 2025

• Wednesday, May 21 | 7:30pm—11:00pm.
• Almar Resort Luxury LGBT Beach Front Experience (380 Amapas, Romantic Zone.)
• Admission: From 125 USD.

Special Guest and main show with Shangela and Alyssa Edwards, Singer Fruela from Spain and Argentina dancer Emiliano Rajzner, Live DJ, Fireworks will make this night unforgettable. Almar Group will donate 50% of every ticket sold to Benefit Vallarta Pride Organization.

Pride Parade 2025 

• Thursday, May 22 | 4:00pm.
• Departure: El Malecón Boardwalk.

One of the most outstanding experiences is the grand Pride parade, which goes through the main streets of Puerto Vallarta.  Here, businesses and individuals showcase their creativity under an annual theme, decorating vehicles and displaying the vibrant colors of the rainbow.  Thanks to this annual celebration, Puerto Vallarta has positioned itself as one of the most important global destinations to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride, attracting travelers from all over and highlighting the cultural diversity of the region.

Block Party 2025

• Thursday, May 22 | 6:00pm.

The biggest street party in Puerto Vallarta is here!  Prepare for an epic celebration with performers, guest stars and live music making this night legendary.  Vallarta Pride will feature an impressive futuristic set from the best local acts, as well as the 90's Mexican all-female pop band JNS.  All under the theme of "The future has no gender."

Drag Derby

• Friday, May 23 | 5:00pm.
• 138 Púlpito, Romantic Zone.
• Free Admission.

This is the most fun and extravagant event of the Vallarta Pride!  Drag Queens and Drag Kings compete in a derby full of surprises, creativity, fun and adrenaline in high heels.
