Who is Natalie Maines ?

Natalie Maines is an American singer best known as the lead vocalist for the country band The Chicks, formerly known as the Dixie Chicks.

In many of her interviews, Maines openly shared her liberal views surrounding many social topics and how she actively supports gay marriage and equality rights. I was always able to separate business from personal – and my friends weren't fellow country artists, so I really didn't care about that.

Beyond her work with The Chicks, Maines pursued a solo career and released her own album titled “Mother” in 2013.
