From the carpark, go down the tunnels under Collins Avenue to reach the beach. Please note, all opinions are still our own. Drive up the north-south Collins Avenue that runs along the Atlantic seafront, north of Haulover Inlet, following the signs to Haulover Park. The area is very easy to navigate.

The local bus costs just $2.25 and conveniently drops you near the park entrance. You will find this gay beach quieter than the one on 12^th Street, which may well suit you if you are looking to relax and get an all over tan!

‘Semi’ Gay Beaches in Miami

With Miami being such a gay friendly destination, all beaches are gay friendly but there is a couple of beaches that tend to attract a ‘gayer’ crowd.

You are in for a treat, unlike many gay beaches around the world these ones are no effort to reach at all!

Miami is exactly like what you will have seen on the T.V. and in films! No problem. There is a boardwalk and underground tunnel from the opposite side of Collins Ave.

  For visitors of the clothing-optional section, friendly ambassadors (look for green safari hats) are available to assist newcomers on the dos and don’ts (for example, you’ll need to cover up in the public restrooms). Haulover is a public place, so cameras and phones are not banned, but you must be respectful of your fellow beachgoers.
